I still believe in bojan, its that hes confidence is low. But the only way for his form to improve is to get more playing time.
I think every Barca fan already realize the 'things' about Bojan. Honestly, from the time he got promoted up until now, he never really exploded and he never exhibit any quality that put the fans in awe, unlike Messi and the latest, Thiago. When we saw Messi in his 19 years of age, we already knew he is special and when we saw Thiago, we also have the same feeling, the feeling of awe, admiration, excitement and ecstacy, the feeling which we cannot wait for the next moment they touch the ball.
But for Bojan, I am convince that most of us do not feel the same way. But Pep's faith in him must have mean something, the same faith he have shown in Busi. So, I think the real problem with Bojan is himself. His inner motivation and his pressure of wanting to perform and show and prove himself.
In my opinion, he will only improve if he starts to relax and chill out and just enjoy his game. I think that's the key. Look at Xavi, Iniesta, Messi and Thiago, when they are on the pitch, we can feel that they are enjoying the game. Instead for Bojan, he looks very tense on the pitch.
He looks a little tired at times. But if you look back at the last seasons, this seems to be normal around this time. He's definately not as fresh as he was in the months before christmas. But like last year and the year before, Pep will have him back in best physical conditions once the CL re-starts.
Bojan is going from bad to worse. The only reason to bring Bojan and leave Affelay out, is that Affelay will start on Wednesday and Bojan will sit on the bench.
The boy just doesn't have it in him. For his sake and for Barça's, I hope the club sells him next summer. Every year more with Barça is a lost year for him.
By the way, about the 'feeling' that I mentioned about Messi and Thiago, I also feel them when I saw Afellay played recently, cannot wait for Thiago and Afellay to combine in midfield, I think we will see another great combination of magic in midfield.
As for the Bojan's case (this is only my suggestion), why not we release him for loan for a while and give Jeffren more playing time. I really think Jeffren could improve if Pep shows the same faith he showed in Bojan. (just an opinion)
Bojan needs to shave off his hair put on some tatoo and go into war mode. Stop acting like a little girl and be a man for crying out loud
Bojan has a positional problem. How many chances did Bojan get infront of the goal recently? I am sure if Pep find a solution to that problem. The goals will come.
Even with the amount of playing time he has now, we should see more improvement in his performances. He had a good run at the end of last season, but overall he's still the same player he was when he had his debut with 17. There's no improvement at all.
When Thiago for example only plays 10 min, you see that there's talent. He's got a lot to learn, but there's potential. With Bojan there's nothing. He's slow, physically weak and his skills on the ball are far below of what a club like Barça requires. The only thing that keeps him at the club is his la Masia past, the longing of Culés to finally have a home-grown #9 and his fathers involvement. If Bojan were a player bought from Zaragoza three summers ago, he'd be long loaned out with no chance of returning.
Well, but then Bojan plays at the wrong club with the wrong coach and the wrong philosophy. What makes our attack so strong and unpredictable at times is the versitality of our front three. Villa, Messi, Pedro can change positions all the time without that any one of them loses their threat. If Bojan is a player to play in the center and nowhere else, our game gets static and predictable. We had that with Ibrahimovic to an extent.
Bojan's just not good enough for a club like Barça.
hmmm i hope u guys right

hes saving energy to destroy arsenal with
Villa is our second best striker (after messi). and after what he did to madrid, im a die hard fan of his
I totally agree, but i think that people are too hard on Bojan, being a striker at any club isnt easy for any football player. now think of the fact that he is only 20 years old and hes playing for barca.
it isnt easy. given time he will improve, but i still think we should load him out to arsenal where they play good football.
Its easier to say ''we dont need him he doesnt fit in'' than to actually help him to get better and give him that trust he needs. In good times everyone praised Bojan and his ability to help this great team, but now he is in trouble. We suddenly dont care?

Players are not objects. They are also human beings and these things happen in football. Look at Berbatov, he is finally catching the rhythm in Manchester. SAF gave him that trust and now he pays it back with goals and wins.
I also belive Bojan is not good for Barca but if Pep stil belives in him I trust him more. Why arent all of you quietly wait for him to perform or leave?
Sorry, but comparing Thiago to Messi? That's too much.
And comparing Busquets to Bojan? It doesnt make sense. Busquets instantly performed when he was brought into the first team, played alot of La Liga games as starter in his first season, and finished off with starting the CL final and performing brilliantly.
What "patience" is there from Pep in that? There's no patience, Busquets almost instantly started performing like he was a seasoned pro, showing no problem with playing in huge games, which is quite remarkable for such a young DM where experience is crucial. Bojan on the other hand is totally different.
Messi's standard is ridiculously high, that's it
Despite biggest fan of Messi, I always expect much more from him.
is it me, or is messi not putting as much effort as he used to…
I never did compare Messi to Thiago, what i compare is the feeling i have when i see Messi and Thiago play on the pitch. i never compare the two players as in football terms. I was talking about the 'feeling' of excitement, admiration i feel as a fan whenever they touch the ball. You might want to read my comment again.
As for Busi, if i recalled correctly, there was some of the fan (including me) who was not very satisfied when he got a lot of playing time than Toure. A lot of ppl think Toure deserved to play more than Busi, and also ppl talked about how Busi always made mistakes and Toure is better at defending?? Remember?? but then Pep keep have faith in him and he finally proves himself.
You got a point there, maybe we should wait and keep our faith in Bojan. He is still 20 indeed.
as far as i am remember, last year or two, bojan got quite ok pace, good dribble, good first touch.. but right now, it seems bojan lost it all~~ just give him a chance… just remember how much he contribute to barca when ibra is in barca~~
Loaning him out to Arsenal would be the biggest mistake. Bojan with his lack of pace and physical pressure would be lost in the EPL. Now he's even too slow and physically weak for games against second and third league teams (Betis, Ceuta), how shall he compete in England?
And a loan is no solution. Once Barça loan a player to another club, there's no way back. They should sell him in the summer. For his own sake. The longer he stays, the more it harms his career as a footballer.
