Not a good game, but with with Pedro out and Villa in a slump getting all three points was a very good result. Alves was mom. Milito is a liability.

Yeah, it's surprising us alright. It's surprising how we're not scoring even the easiest of chances against the easiest of teams. What happened to the November/December team. Our forward line can't get it done anymore and that's it.

Sure, Villa missed chances but he also helped to create most of Barca's chances with his movement and bursts of speed. Barca adapts its game to Messi, and Villa is adapting his game to Barca… he's still working on it and deserve merits for being so unselfish as a strikers, for being such a team player.
I'm confident that our front line will be back in form for the final stretch.
What was an embarrassment was the central defense today in letting that late goal slip – especially after all the possession we had. And again, Barca – please move forward rather than sideways in counterattacks!!! pllleeeaase.

Poor game, good 3 points, Villa needs to start being more selfish and stop trying to set messi up, messi needs to start being less selfish. We need to buy a striker for next season despite bojan goal he does not inspire me with confidence. affellay should get more minutes.

why is everybody blaming Milito when his partner was as much guilty for the conceded goal as he was, OK we all know Milito is not the best option in CB but we don't have any body else at the moment, i too wanted to see Fontas but i think Pep and his assistants know better, and i trust them, we won, hopefully we will win again against Villareal and we can all celebrate an other title

The ability to play an off game and still win is a mark of really good teams: nobody is at their best all the time, have to be able to pull out the points anyway. Sure, we all want to win beautifully, but we have to be able to take points on bad days.
Really hoping to see Puyol back after the internationals, that would make such a big difference in attitude and coherence. Puyol or Abidal out and we can still play to our peak, take them both away and it really hurts. Hoping Pedro can recover during the break as well.
I know the history is against us in Villarreal, but the players know its a big game and they have the ability to break tradition, especially if Puyol and Pedro are back… even if Xavi is suspended. Bring in Masch, move Busquets forward, press like crazy from the front, hold the D, and grind it out. 1-0 or 2-1 is just fine. Not something to give up on.

I don't think so. Alves was suspended for a yellow recently, so I don't think he has accumulated enough to be banned again.
considering getafe had 10 men behind the ball most of the game, i thought we did extremely well. im actually impressed with the amount of chances we created considering the difficulty they caused us. if we can keep creating the way we have, the goals WILL come, dont worry
i thort milito played well considering the amount of time hes been on the bench this year. pique was too close to alves on the goal, he was too far away from milito, but i think that was piques mistake to be closer. not sayin the goal was either of their faults, it was a great run, but i think pique was in a very bad position
i agree with everything u said, except for the goal. i think milito was in the right position, but pique was the one in no mans land. wen the ball is on the left of our defence, pique should be much closer to the penalty spot
