Yeah, that was probably the best. Ronnie's prime was godlike. In my opinion, Ronnie prime is still better than Messi. Ronnie had better freekicks, passes, etc. Ronnie's dribbling didn't use close control but no one could stop him unless he was fouled. But with the way Messi is improving, I'm sure he can pass my childhood idol in a couple of years. As for Samu, he's the perfect Barca CF.

villa is playing with confidence and a smile again it aint easy for him as at valencia he played through the middle and was the big fish in a small pond whereas at barca there all piranha's lol

Honestly, I know some Barca fans often slammed David Villa for not being clinical in front of goals. And sure, he won't be able to match Eto'o's hit rate and end up with deluge of goals per match.

But other than Messi's talent, Villa is one heck of a runner who knows how to apply the Barca's principle. In this match, look at his wonderfully flighted pass that allows Pedro to nick in the second goal.

I rather have one David Villa to 10 USELESS & over-rated Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

I disagree with messi rating….he misplaced multiple passes and struggled sometimes to pass his markers…thumb me down as u like…truth must be told …he was his usual best…..at least no on the MESSI scale……by the way im a crazy messi fan

I agree, that pass was brilliant, and I was so sure that Abi was gonna convert.

And how about that assist by Villa for Pedro's goal? That was truly a Xavi-esque pass! Great vision, weight, touch, everything.
