Eto’o racially abused outside Milan bar
According to reports in Italy, former FC Barcelona favourite Samuel Eto’o has suffered once again at the hands of racist football fans. The incident, which occurred two nights ago outside a trendy Milanese night spot, saw the Cameroonian heckled by a group of AC Milan ultras, causing the striker’s security to become irate and confront the group, although a physical altercation was eventually avoided.
It seems Samu, who had been out for a drink with friends, was on his way home from Ricci, the trendy bar in question that is also a favourite with many AC fans, when he encountered a group of ultras who began to chant their racist verses to the Cameroonian. Despite some reports that Eto’o was close to brawling with the fans, it seems the forward chose to avoid conflict, allowing his security team to deal with the situation instead.
Speaking since the incident took place, Eto’o has played down its significance, with the player seemingly unwilling to rise to the provocations, but it is thought that the former Barca legend is less than happy with the song that the AC Milan fans have taken to singing in his honour, the same song that the Ultras sang at him as he left Ricci a few nights ago.
The song that goes “They saw you selling roses, roses on the metro… Samuel Eto’o, Samuel Eto’o” refers to the African immigrants living in Milan and has been a firm favourite with the Milan fans during this campaign. Designed, as it is, to denigrate one of the greatest forwards of his generation, it is safe to say that all Barca fans know Samu is stronger than any racist hooligan, what with the great striker overcoming other such incidents during his time in Spain.
These scum make me sick. Eto'o should have taught them a lesson and beat the crap out of them.

Actually, you are wrong. While the kid in the 'documentary' is correct and he says those lines .. the origin of the 'chant' dates back to 2006. More correctly the CL final against Arsenal. And you remember who scored the first goal ?
Well there were a couple of ecstatic radio commentators at Rac 1, who couldn't believe what they saw ..and kinda made up the 'chant' while commenting the game..and it has stuck with us culés ever since .. see even the little kid in the video knew

At the end of the day, they still pay to watch him during the derbys, he earns more money than they ever will.
