“You [the media] may not want to talk about it as you are more interested in talking about Wednesday’s match but we are playing for the League [title] tomorrow,” reminding the press present at today’s meeting that they are there to talk about tomorrow’s Liga match against Real Sociedad, and not the Champions League or the controversies surrounding last Wednesday’s match.

Watch this video and tell us what you think.
While they couldn’t be with their teammates in Madrid to watch and celebrate the 0-2 victory against Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals, Bojan, Maxwell, Abidal and Adriano decided to get together anyway to enjoy the match on television.
The four players were joined by Paco Seirul•lo (fitness coach), Francesc Cos (fitness coach), Daniel Medina (doctor) and Roger Gironès (physio) on Wednesday night at the Emperador restaurant, in Port Vell of Barcelona, where they watched the match and surely celebrated Messi’s two goals.
The crack has scored 52 goals and he is the Pichichi in La Liga, the Cup and Champions.
He is Cristiano, Bernabéu and Mourinho’s bête noir
The six “why” Mourinho asked in the press conference, answered one by one.
Barça sues Mou to UEFA. Unbelievable! Madrid responds by suing Barça!
THE FARCE IS OVER
UEFA will take disciplinary actions against him and will be sanctioned hardly
COE. The president of this institution accuses him of destroying all of Madrid’s moral values
Barça presses charges against him to UEFA for the defamations
Madrid press criticizes him and publish polls against him
And the most surrealistic thing: Madrid will sue Barça for unsporting behaviour.
The goal by Messi was seen all over the world.

The tactical cat and mouse game that we all witnessed yesterday in Madrid is reflected in the statistics for the match. And while these stats generally confirm the overall impression of two teams trying to cancel each other out, there are some fascinating details revealed as well. Read on for the meat!
After a special meeting of FC Barcelona’s Board of Directors on Thursday, the club has announced that they will formally complain to UEFA about the post-match comments of Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho. Toni Freixa, speaking on the board’s behalf, will file a complaint with the Control and Disciplinary Commission of UEFA for the comments which the board considers “an infringement on the basic rules of behavior.”
During the fiery Champions League Semi final El Clasico encounter between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, tempers of the players on the pitch as well as the supporters in the stadium boiled over, leading to several on and off-field transgressions of rules.
UEFA has opened disciplinary cases against both the clubs that took part in Wednesday night’s game.
On Thursday morning, the team held a training session at the Ciutat Esportiva following their 0-2 victory in Madrid on Wednesday evening. The eleven starters at the Bernabeu held a gentler session focused on recovering from their efforts the night before, while for the rest, training has been more intense.
Amidst the whine fest that was Mourinho’s post-match press conference (Surprise!), some people forgot that Josep Guardiola also addressed the press after the tension and theatric-laden match in Madrid. This time around, Guardiola refused to respond to Mourinho’s provocations. Instead, he highlighted what he and his team intended to do: win the battle on the pitch. Read excerpts from Guardiola’s less controversial but more sensible press conference after the jump.
totalBarca brings you the winner of the Man of the Match poll against Real Madrid – Lionel Messi. Acknowledged by the press as the bright star of what was a dark, messy night, Messi again had the football world looking for superlatives when he swung the tie in Barca’s favour after scoring the first and then finishing it off with a goal that only reaffirms his reputation as one of the finest footballers to grace the earth.

THE FUCKING LEADER IS MESSI
Madrid 0 – 2 Barça
From Madrid to Wembley. Two fantastic goals by Messi led Barça almost to the Champions final. The crack led Barça after Pepe was sent off.
Mourinho, sent off, was a bad loser. He played his victim role again, but Cristiano Ronaldo himself criticized his defensive style.
In addition to Pep Guardiola’s press conference before the game, Barça is showing other signs of being fed up by Mourinho’s tactics. This time, the club is seriously studying whether to press charges against the Madrid coach after his latest press conference, after the game his team lost 0-2 to Barça.
The eyes of the world were firmly fixed upon Madrid and the Santiago Bernabeu tonight, as decades of rivalry were about to manifest into 90 minutes of the most hotly anticipated football for a generation. As part three of this momentum – gathering quartet approached, Madrid had somehow succeeded in wrestling the “favourites” tag from eternal adversaries Barcelona, and arrived at tonight’s Champions League semi- final first leg, with both spirits and expectations at an all time high.
