According to Catalan based newspaper Sport, the FC Barcelona ex-player and ex-director of football Txiki Begiristain has signed a contract with London based Chelsea FC.

Begiristain was set to take one year off after Barcelona’s old board of directors’ stepped down for the new Barcelona presidency elections, with a new president and board of directors. He is expected to start working with the English club as soon as possible, making his way into the staff members of the club with full expectations.
