  1. dino says:

    what about Adriano from Sevilla ?

    • Laud says:

      Hasn't officially signed a contract nor has he gone through the necessary medical examination.

  2. I am Right. Deal. says:

    Transfer of the summer? – Mourinho.
    Watch out.

    • KAYR says:

      i really DO believe for the first time ever that we got the best price possible for a player that has won MANY TITLES and that is so young in Adriano!!! I keep laughing at Del Nido everytime i see the transfer!!! I mean if you watch him, this guy will give our first team players something to think about, thus raising their game….

      • wat about Villa ??? we got him for a fricking bargain after seeing his World Cup… wat about Pique ?? his transfer fee was made to look like peanuts after his rise to the top after coming back to Barca.. wat about Alves ? a better right back than Maicon n Ramos n Lahm n can only get better with the number of years he has in the bag..

        u can appreciate things but not bring down the work done by the ppl in charge to bring other top talents in..

        • Sandy says:

          Bollocks to Barca 4ever. We have paid over the odds for Caceras, Henry, Hleb, Henrique, Keirrison. Who can forget Ibra. I bet, their current worth is :-
          Caceras: 7mn (purchase=16mn)
          Hleb: 2mn (purchase=17mn)
          Henrique = 3mn (purchase = 10mn)
          Henry = free (purchase=24mn)
          Ibra = 35mn (purchase=65mn)

          And the worse part is that these players have not contributed their share on the football pitch. The runaway financial excesses that we observed in the past are now hitting us back.

          BTW, looking at the WC2010, Alves is not half of what Maicon is.

          • sandy.. u gotta take up english classes before u start bashing someone.. i was justifying the part where KAYR said adriano was the first person we bought for the actual price he was worth n it was the best buy EVER…

            true we screwed up several transfers but we also got a few bargains ALSO which was wat i was pointing to..

            also, i give a damn about how Alves did in World Cup.. i dint say he did better in the world cup.. his club performances are enough to make him the best right back..
            u get it now ???

  3. Barca2010 says:

    Thierry Henry is French correct. :P ?? Says Brazil….. :)

  4. marius says:

    Theirry Henry is on loan ?

  5. hamad_ali says:

    i might not like sandro rossel , but DAMN !!!! he has amazing negotiating skills . 13.5 for adriano = super cheap for the best utility player ever .

  6. Marc4barca says:

    lol someone totally messed up on the henry status.

  7. tsbarca says:

    henry had 1 yr left on his contract right?so what was his transfer fee?

  8. TotalFootball says:

    Ibra is staying -)

  9. Leckan says:

    I find it funny that some people laugh at Del Nido and Sevilla about this.

    Adriano had only on year left on a contract. Sevilla had to sell now not to lose him on a bosman. Also, he's nothing but a squad player for them. At LB they have Navarro and Drago who both are better defenders and at LM they have Perotti and Capel who both are better attackers. At RB they have Konko and Sergio Sanchez and they signed RB Dabo on a bosman. At RM they have Navas, De Mul, Alfaro, Acosta not to mention Perotti being able to play there as well.

    So you see, they sold a player with only a year left on his contract who they didn't even need for €9.5m+4m. If anything we overpayed and it's Del Nido who should laugh at us. He sounded very pleased when he announced it. Don't get me wrong, Adriano is a good player but this was not a particularly impressive negotiations by any means.

    • KAYR says:

      wrong… in big games such as barca and madrid, adri plays in front of most players coz of his tactical superiority!!! he's very important to sevilla…

    • Joker says:

      A player they didn't even need? That's bollocks.

      From all those you mentioned only Perotti and Navas are better players.
      De Mul, Alfaro, Acosta are all sh*t, Capel is average and Dragutinovic can't play LB anymore due to his lack of pace and stamina. He plays CB.

      That said it is a good deal for both sides cause normally Adriano would be worth more.

  10. harshawardhan says:

    i think shwiensteiger wants out of bayern. RM is trying to sign him. They are behaving like Man City.. buying like crazy.. theyre gonna sell 3-4 players dirt cheap like last season they let go of robben and schneider..
    what do you guys think of shweinsteiger as a replacement for the yaya? he had a good WC

    • l3sswat3r says:

      shweini would be awesome, in my opinion the best player in his position, but he wouldn't come to barca to split time with busquets, or really even to madrid to split time with xabi. he needs more minutes than that and i don't think the spanish style of play would suit him particularly well. he's a beast of a tackler and loves to get physical. i say he goes to chelsea to take over for ballack

  11. adriano signing surprise me, i dont really see sevilla games but i know he was not a fixed starter for sevilla…Does this mean that now barcellona is going to sell marquez!
    I would of prefer luis filipe whos better defensively.
    Just hope the last signing is fabregas and this story of is he gonna come reaches a end!

  12. askaa says:

    how g*y is the picture of Villa? I mean damn his hands on the wall trying to seduce someone – I mean DAMN!! :D :D

  13. punk says:

    so henrique, caceres, nd hlebs loans are over ? nd theyre returning nd playing the preseason nd everything ?
