Training: Players take part in recovery work
Some of the players that didn’t play the full ninety minutes against Stuttgart, including Busquets, didn’t take a break and were at the Ciutat Esportiva today, while some of the first team players came to do recovery work.
Although the Barça squad was given a day off on Thursday, some of its members did appear at Sant Joan Despí for various fitness reasons. These were Pinto, Busquets, Jeffren, Ibrahimovic, Márquez, Chygrynskiy and Keita. None of those played the full 90 against Stuttgart. Abidal, meanwhile, is still regaining shape, and Xavi is also undergoing treatment.
Some of the players that did play against the Germans were also at the Ciutat Esportiva for recuperation and gym work.
Fitness work
Coach Pep Guardiola and assistant coach Tito Vilanova came to oversee the morning’s activity. Sergio Busquets, who was taken off after 66 minutes last night with a minor leg injury, worked out in isolation, and didn’t seem to be suffering any after effects. So, it looks like there is no reason for concern, and on Friday he should be able to train as normal.

Barça are due back en masse on Friday at 10.30 at the Ciutat Esportiva, where they will start thinking about Sunday’s game in Zaragoza.

Didnt we hammer them 6-1 in the first leg? i know madrid also hammered them with a similar scoreline.
has zaragoza's form changed recently? not that i want to underestimate them… but coming off the back of a great champions league game with our team in great form… i think we should be fine. as long as we play our style of high pressure-win the ball.. pass around and move football.
its very obvious that when the barca frontline dont press to win the ball.. thats when we struggle. i have no doubt that if we keep that going and henry and messi play in their current form zaragoza will be destroyed. lets hope for that.
just look at how much good time the players seem to be having in this picture. How I would give a lot just to be amongst these guys.
