Top Spanish clubs interested in Botia
Spanish radio station Cadena Ser claims that FC Barcelona loan out and Spanish U-21 international Alberto Botia (21) is wanted by many top La Liga teams.
Botia, who last summer opted to move to Sporting Gijon on loan, has become a prime target of a host of Spanish sides with namely Valencia, Villarreal and Real Zaragoza in the hunt following a successful season by Botia.
Born in Murcia, Bota joined La Masia as a 13 year-old and will return to Barcelona for the preseason under Pep Guardiola’s request. The coach will then decide whether he would continue with the first team, or be once again loaned out.
I say we loan him for another year, to a better club and than let's see what happens. We have Milito, Chygry and probably Marquez for next year. We don't need him, yet…
Arsenal is looking for a CB, I would not be against a loan to them.

We need Milito and Puyol for experience. Marquez can leave and Botia can replace him. Botia is a ball playing CB similar to the Mexican. Chyggy can continue to be 5th choice with Bartra (he might go to Real Madrid according to reports!) and Muniesa waiting in the wings.
NO! We could use him for the future of our backline. Puyol is 32, Marquez 30, Milito almost 29. Our defence is not getting any younger. In the future we can have Pique, Muniesa, Bartra, Botia, Chyggy (if Pep will be still coach).

Well… he left so he could play.. so he isnt coming back to sit on the bench if he knows he will be like the 4th option. I agree on using him to get Villa. Reduce the overall price and send him to a good CL participating team

Sergi Gomes is not U-19 international.he is a foremer U-17 international where he took park with the spain team in the last U-17 world cup in Nigeria.He is born in 1992 like Dalmau-Munisea-Carmona-Espinosa-Sergi Roberto,he plays for the Juvenil A team right now.He is a centre back with great aerial ability as he scores a lot from free kicks and corners,he is one to watch for the future but his future may not be guaranteed bec of too many quality players at his position.

mmm Fontas probably need a loan to a team like Gijon while Botia will be loaned to a bigger club like Sevilla and Valencia.I want him more than u here but our squad has 5 good centrebacks and even a 25m signing who is a Pep's favourite cant take minutes here a loan would be great for Botia,I can see him developing into a world-class centreback but his future here is far from centre.

Take him back and sell Marquez. Loan Chiggy out to an average team. Alves (Puyol,Botia), Puyol (Milito), Pique (Botia) Abidal (Maxwell, Puyol). It might be good to refresh the defense a bit next year. We could use some more young, motivated players. Caceres + Henrique and cash for any big transfer planned for the summer.
NOO!!! Call him back into FCB! I watched him against RM he's probably as good as milito if not better. This way we can have LB-Maxwell/Adibal, CB- Pique-Milito-Chyg-Botia RB- dani, Puyol. Save us the cost of a RB.
