The thing with Muniesa is his injury is not that severe but he had a very bad injury in April 2008 which kept him out for almost one year. When he returned in March 2008 he instantly started playing brilliantly with Juvenil A with consecutive MOM performances and then with the Spain U17 in the Euro U17 tournament where he was regarded as the best defender and also made the team of the tournament. So the thing is hes had basically NO rest whatsoever since returning from that bad injury as he played the world youth championship and was also with first team in the preseason and then with Barca Atletic and the U17 world cup. They were scared he would have a relapse of that knee injury so they decided to keep him out of football for a while(atleast until the new year) after the U17 world cup. So now that the new year is over he'll be back :) Muniesa is finally back from his injury but Lucho didn't play him in this match because he didn't want to rush him.
