Seluk: “Toure will most likely not remain in Barcelona”
Yaya Toure’s agent, Dimitri Seluk, has decided to continue the saga of whether or not Toure should stay in Barcelona when he recently questioned the club’s use of the midfielder. Seluk points out that Toure has been on the bench more than he has played this season, speaking in an interview with radio station Ona FM.
“If Yaya Toure had played the first game in the semifinal against Inter Milan in the Champions League in Milano, they would have been in the final in the Santiago Bernabeu. Toure will most likely not stay in Barcelona. He is happy in Barcelona, which is a big and comfortable club, but he is not interested to stay on the bench. Toure wants to play every game.”
Lately Cesc Fabregas has been highly linked to Barcelona, and there have been suggestions that Toure could be a part of a swap deal, which according to Seluk is not likely: “There is a one in a thousand chance that Toure will be involved in the move for Cesc with Arsenal.”

The atmospghere here makes reading this wanderfull website more and more difficult. This is actually getting worse than goal.com comment section. Much worse. Much, much worse. I think there is sometimes more respect towards Barcelona as a club and it's players and coaches at Real Madrid forums than here… I understand we are all passionate about the club (although certain people are only passionate about certain players, nothing else), but there should be a limit somewhere. I don't know what is the avarage age of people who read this site and post here- sometimes it's seems like it's three… But you may and you will lose some more mature readers if this trend continues.

I will quit supporting Barca then, With Villa, Silva, Luis fabiano, Aguero gone, teh league is bound to become very boring next saeson, with real and barca accumulating 120 points both. Seeing the transfer policy an dthe financial polcy of 35m€ in bonuses alone paid I am disgusted. Then I like Arsenal more….A Barca fan….

typical barca. toure is tiwce as good as busquets. he is the best defensive midfielder in the world. i wouldn't wonder if they would make a deal "toure + 40 mio for fabregas". if they sell toure they will buy mascherano for sure (maybe for 40 mio which is crazy). toure can be used as a sub for xavi as well as for puyol or pique. mascherano can't.
if pep would be fair enough, toure would have played 60-70% of the games and busquets just 30-40% at maximum. but in that case he isn't and i have to say that despite my respect for pep. the first crazy thing pep did was the eto'o/ibra case. and now the story will continue.
Toure is our tank mid, if he leaves i swear it'll be the worst mistake ever.
I have to spoon feed my statements to some people.. On the last game Toure defended brilliantly, attacked superbly and ended the game as central defender. Busquets can barely manage his current position while Toure bring a new dimension to it.
Again, Busquets best game does not come close to Toure's. Why is it hard for people to agree with the truth?
Busquets best game was let's say Arsenal, first leg. When he and Xavi (no Iniesta) absolutely owned the field. Quite frankly it was an incredible performance. Yaya brings a completely different thing. Those two are two completely different players. Yaya should play more often- but instead of Keita, not Busquets…
only one player in this world can replace toure…infact is better than toure and that is bastian schwiensteiger…the only reason apart from robben that bayern are so good this season
Touré is extremely important for us. I think it's a mistake by Pep choosing Busquets over him that often.. Hope we can convince him to stay indeed. He's a monster!
