Real Madrid should not involve Higuaín in Fàbregas transfer

Football fans in Spain believe that Real Madrid will make a mistake if it agrees to Arsenal’s demand for a swap plus cash deal involving Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuaín (22) to lure the Premiership club to release Cesc Fabregas to come to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Following a claim that was made in an article published in Madrid sports paper Marca last week, and subsequently picked up by British papers in recent days, Arsenal is said to be considering letting the Catalan-born midfielder go to any highest bidder next summer.

A online survey done by Marca itself found that an over-whelming 87 percent of the over 60,000 visitors are not in favor of it. Only 13 percent of respondents think it is a reasonable deal.

According to several UK tabloids, Real Madrid would only agree to such a deal if Arsenal value the striker at 35 million euros, his estimated market price. Higuaín scored 22 goals last season, and has already registered 10 goals from 16 matches this campaign.

Real Madrid signed Higuaín for 13 million euros in 2006 for a six and a half-year contract.

These Cesc rumors has gone crazy Madrid will never let Higuain leaves neither Barca nor Real Madrid need Cesc Barca at end of season may need a winger Madrid need an experienced striker to be with Benzema and Higuain if they want to play with 2 strikers my expectations at end of seasons there will be 3 big transfers Ribery-Cesc-Villa I think Ribert to Madrid Villa to chelsea or man utd Cesc stay at Arsenal Barca to sign a young winger like suarez aaaaaaaaand Masherano(I would hate it but I think it will happen)

I believe you are forgetting about David Silva. Or do you not think that he will be a transfer?

      • Mido_cule says:

I beleive that 4 sure we will sign a winger this summer Silva would be a more attractive idea 4 the candidates of the elections as a man like Rossel would like to promise Silva signing better than Suarez for example so I beleive if Valencia are willing to sell Silva may end up in Barca especially if Ribery joins Madrid although I find signing a player who can play anywhere in the front 3 like Suarez or Gervinho would be a better option

  2. Hallu says:

It will be the peak of stupidity if they do it.

  3. Marc4barca says:

wow even more real madrid news, really guys this stuff shouldn't be on here.. especially since it's about that anti-barca higuain and the traitor cesc.

  4. Messias says:

Damn i hate this synnical Real piece of shit Madrid! They are so stupid! now higuain is one of their best strikers, why in hell would they wanna swap him for fabregas? do they really need more midfielders? NO, they only want this to mess up for us! That animal Florentino only want to steal the player we want most.. He wants to "do another Figo" on us, and we all know what happened there (if you really are a culé you should)..
Personally i think this never will happen.. :)

hmm, i kind of agree with Mido, Higuain won't move to Arsenal, as much as i dislike Higuain because he is a MADridsta, i believe he is too big for Arsenal and secondly a more feasible transfer for MADrid will be Ribery whereas we will have to go for Silva or a youngster who is a winger. Fabregas would arrive maybe but i am not sure if Barca can meet his price tag,(Wenger places stupid price tags), but let's see.

  6. DontPanic says:

I agree that selling Higuain would be stupid but you must remember that Higuain was Calderons signing. Do not underestimate big egos of presidents.

  7. Zlatanator says:

Calling Cesc a traitor is a bit much.

  8. Christian says:

I wouldnt swap Higuain + money for Fabregas.
But this is real madrid and perez we are talking about, a dumb lot so who knows.

  9. Marc4barca says:

    i guess so… i retract that statement

  10. Fenderek says:

    I disagree.
    He IS a traitor.

    • Zlatanator says:

Getting slapped with a wad of cash when you are a kid is a lot of pressure. You would do it.

    • junaid says:

      barca traited fabregas.
apparently wenger was interested in him 2 years before but barca only agree'd to let him go since they taught he would not be a worthwhile talent and told wenger to sell them tierry henry to sign fabregas for 500,000 which they taught they where getting alot for him but now they are bidding 60m and want him back lol.

      • Fenderek says:

And where did you get that info from, Arsenal fan zin?
Jesus, it's not only Wenger who's whinning, Arsenal fans seem to be the same… Seems like the only drawback from getting Arsenal will be all Arsenal fans on this blog… which says a lot about them… somehow I'm not that interested in spending my free time on Arsenal blog… of well… I guess it will end after they lose 3:0 at Camp Nou…

  11. BArca fan says:

suarez is not a winger, he sucks at dribbling.

  12. BArca fan says:

If real madrid trade away their savior higuain then i dont see why any player should join that crazy mad house.

  13. Ivo Dimitrov says:

Take a look in the history.. Barca got every Arsenal's player that they wanted to? Petit, Overmars, Henry.. so if the club really wants Cesc they will have him.

  14. Ibracadabra says:

EE's midfield has CR9,Kaka,Xabi,and Lass..so it obvious to perez that the real problem with EE is that they don't have a good midfield so its logical to them that considering their weak midfield and strong attack with benzema and raul, they will sell their only worthwhile striker for a midfielder..Obviously with pepe out for this season, they don't need a good defender…maybe cesc will be bought to play in defence..

  15. Zoe says:

Ain't gonna happen… Higuain isn't going anywhere; and who cares anyway this is a barca site please stop posting stuff about that madrid side unless it involves Barca; and if Cesc prefers to play with Real over Barca so be it.

  16. Zlatanator says:

Well is Cesc is actually a prospect for us, this would indeed involve Barca. Or at least Barca's future.

  17. Fenderek says:

No- YOU would do it and you simply look at other people from your won perspective. It's call "projection".

It's not like he was at some poor club in the sixth division at the end of the world with no hopes of ever making it…

  18. mike says:

You guys realise that Arsenal fans are just laughing at the 2 clubs now. We don't need to sell because were not in debt. He is irreplacable to us. Anyway, imagine if there was constant speculation regarding Messi to Arsenal twice a year and us acting like we'll get him no matter what. It would annoy you too. Don't even discuss his transfer until 2016 thank-you and I know its a presidential thing, it's a shame UEFA can't get involved to punish those who are responsible. Anyway were on course for a 100 goal EPL season, so strikers aren't high on our agenda either.

  19. Marc4barca says:

true but i'm going call him weak hearted instead of a traitor cause he didn't believe he could make it in barcelona and money was just a extra motivation to leave.

  20. Marc4barca says:

lol good use of messi there but i am sure if messi was linked to arsenal for two years i would be laughing everyday cause messi already went to nursery school. also there are many fans here who don't give a damn if cesc returns or not since we are strong believers in the current batch of youths that are coming up namely thiago and jds so keep your hold to that hope that cesc will win you something and we'll continue being the world's best with +9 youth players. so keep laughing all you want cause all we hear are cries of lend us more youths.

oh yea you guys are idiots for letting go fran merida.

  21. seriously as a barcelona fan the last thing i would like to see is madrid news like i give a f**k….and if fabregas is even considering a moved to madrid i wouldnt want him in barcelona…and just promote thiago and sergi roberto, that stay loyal to the club and dont leave at the age of 16 like fabregas who tought he couldnt make it to the first team…
