i won't consider jeffren a super sub just yet.

i vote we go for a LW and give certain youth players a chance when xavi or iniesta needs rest until we really need cesc.

It's embarrassing spending 40-50 million on our own youth product. Besides, as Henry is probably playing his last year, it makes so much more sense buying a world class left winger to replace the great Henry. Ribery on the left wing, Pedro and Jeffren as super subs!

How so? The way I see it, we need a LW, which isn't the same as saying we need Ribery. There are probably much better options for less money. Personally, I think we need to show Pedro and the other youngsters how much faith we have in them.

Ribery isn't the type of player Barca need. He fits better somewhere else, but not really with Barca. Cesc provides options where Xavi and Iniesta don't. He will also be able to take over from Xavi in the long run. Cesc has more of a goalscoring instinct than either of the other two.

I just dont understand where Cesc fits at all???Iniesta is best in midfield. Ribery would replace Henry perfectly. Cesc/Xavi/Iniesta at the same time would be way too indirect I think. Ribery is the right choice

I disagree. Ribery just doesn't really fit, I don't think. Cesc would slot in perfectly. We don't need to spend money on Ribery.
