Great article. I think he will leave at the end of this season, but I do believe he can still be useful ON the pitch this season, especially in the big games. He may be far from 100%, I'm sure defenders are still very scared when they get Henry in front of them, because you never know when the legend might hit back.

thierry henry means under several domestic titles in france, england and in spain , world cup winner 1998, european cup champion 2000, confed cup winner 2003, champions league winner 2009, european super cup winner 2009, fifa world club cup winner 2009.henry was an integral part of the team who reached as the first team ever the sextuple in the history of football. we must not forget his copius individual awards.

thierry henry is after ronaldo ( greatest striker of all times ) the best striker in the last decade and one of the best in the history as well. thierry henry is one of the most successful players of all times. no more, no less…

What people tend to forget is that, Henry has been incredibly unlucky this season. He could have had 7-8 goals more this season, but things just havent clicked for him. He had a really poor end to 2009 being injured several times and then just struggling to put in good performances.
But his start to the year has been very promising. He may not be scoring, but he is definitely performing.
Unfortunately, I think he will leave the club at the end of the season in order to play regularly.
But make no mistake about it, he was served the club fantastically. Led the team in scoring in 2007-08, and formed part of the historic trident that broke all goalscoring records last year. In fact some of his goals were incredibly crucial – The away goal in Lyon, scoring in the last five minutes to level the score against Valencia, his performance against Bayern was superb, and his goals against Madrid at 1-1 and 2-4.
He has completely justified his price tag and to have been able to put in such performances bieng 30 + is just phenomenal.

I wonder if Wenger let Henry leave for Barça so he could add to the rewards he so richly deserved for an amazing footballing career – World Cup, CL, EPL and La Liga titles, plus cups galore.

Another Arsenal great, Freddie Ljungberg, also lost pace horribly in his last years.

When it's gone, it's gone. Must be extremely difficult to deal with. I wish Titi well if he does go to US (can't see him at Man City, even though his old mate Patrick is there).

I can just see him publishing a memoir in 10 years raving about his days in Arsenal and saying that he only moved to Barcelona to win a Champions League and after doing that, he had achieved everything and had lost motivation, hence the season we are witnessing.
