The Barca boys and the traitor*

  5. odn-barca4life says:

Dont you mean the 2 traitors? Or is Pique not a traitor? Have you forgotten he was a part of the man utd team that beat us in the CL semi-final in 07/08? What makes Cesc a traitor and Pique not one?

  6. barca96 says:

pique and cesc as usual close to each other.bromance4life.LOL

Pique's departure from Barca when he was young has got to do a LOT with political aspects of the board… And not only that, he also forced his way back when the club was arguably in one of its worst positions ever; a vote of no confidence on the president, having forced to rely on a rookie coach, had to part with it's most charismatic leader ever & haven't won a trophy for what, 3 years!? Do you actually realize Pique forced his way out of a team that just won a CL, has the WPOTY & been champion in their countries for 3 straight years then!?! I know, some douche bags would now come out saying Pique had no place at Utd, Evans was ahead of him, bla bla bla. What about his position at Barca then!? The club had Puyol, Marquez & Milito who were all gonna be picked ahead of him. Were even showing interest in the player voted as the best young defender in the league(Caceres)… So he had 4 defenders ahead of him at Barca while at the all-winning Utd, he only had a retiring Ferinand, Vidic & Evans(Wes Brown will always be considered a RB there) So only a fool would rather a losing club(Barca) to the CL winners Utd unless he was madly in love with Barca

So next time, some one's gonna say Pique a traitor, better think again… He is NOT one!!

the real question is, did we want to keep pique back then, barca didn't fuss over losing pique like they did cesc so basically it was like barca agreed for pique to go. when pique was bought back he wasn't anything big, it was suppose to be a back up signing but he turned way better than we thought. barca wanted to keep cesc badly but cesc still left cause he didn't believe in his chances so basically he was just weak hearted and didn't believe in himself, does that make him a traitor? who knows, i guess it depends on what he does to return.

  9. odn-barca4life says:

I will say this. There were several people before the start of last season who are now on this very site and who were on the fcbtransfers blog that did not want Pique to come back. They openly opposed it calling him a traitor. Now they sing his name. I'd love to see who would call Cesc a traitor if he comes back and does well and who would sing his name.

What is up with all of you calling pique a traitor?! It was good for pique to go to man utd, he got tougher and more cynical in his tackles than a usual spanish defender. and then he returned to barca and is now a vital part of our team and the national team. why call him a traitor? call him a hero! and i will call cesc the same, if he is to return! both players has pledged their future to barca, and they both say that they're CULES, that's all i need to know!
