Pedro, with a hamstring injury

Pedro, with a hamstring injury

As Barcelona’s official website reports, medical tests carried out after the game against Mallorca have determined that Pedro suffered a hamstring injury in the femoral biceps of the left thigh. On Monday there will be more tests to determine the exact extent of the injury.

There were less than 15 minutes until the end of the match when Pedro was injured. The team doctors, after an initial examination, had him subsituted for Nolito in the 78th minute. In the locker room, the Canary striker was subjected to various tests to make a first assessment of the injury. It was determined that Pedro suffered a hamstring injury in the femoral biceps of the left thigh.

On Monday, further tests

The player will undergo more tests on Monday to determine the exact extent of the injury and to judge the approximate recovery time. Initial estimates indicate at least two weeks.

Pedro was one of the Barcelona players summoned by coach Vicente del Bosque for Spain’s Euro 2012 qualification matches against Lithuania and Scotland. It seems certain that Pedro will now miss these two games.

  1. playing like we have been playing all season how do you expect us to fight against the like of chelsea or even madrid….chelsea has been playing the best football of anyone this season so far. comparing the 2 teams leaves me quite worried for the latter stages of champion league because we wont be able to compete if we cant finish out chances….its really frustrating im sure its infinitely more so for the players.

pep needs to find a way to break these defenses down….maybe wingers that want to get to the endline can help? i dont know…pep needs to find the f u c k out ASAP
