They were not that great before they came to us. Caceres had one good season in a defensive minded team, while Henrique and Keirrison were part of some shady Traffic deals. Palmerias fans were happy when they both left as they were not that highly rated by the fans.

It's not about whether the player is promising or established (like flops Hleb, Ibra etc), it's about buying the right players, with the right research before we decide to move for them and making sure there are at least some value in the market for them even if god forbid they dont succeed with us.

Don't be foolish. It's usually the case in La Liga that the buy-back option is similar to the price he was sold for. No deal has ever been 0.5k and then 10m buy-back option. It's highly unlikely we we will buy him back, so most likely we have just given away the player for free.

DUDE! that reminds me! yesterday you were complaining about how we dont buy promising young players like the other clubs do…. well guess what…. we did. And look what happened? Flops. caceres, henrique, keirrison. you dont think that before they came to barca they werent promising or looked great? meanwhile la masia never lets us down. for every promising player there that flops, there are like 5 more that surprise us. you keep talking about players like david luis and pato… isnt there a possibility we will ruin their careers and end up loaning them off too? so stop complaining about our lack of crack signings. if you want to run barca, theres this great game called FIFA 10.

People dont understand that it is difficult to make it at barca and ou shouldnt crucify a player after just one performance. that being said, caceres should NOT get another chance, especially when we have fontas, muniesa, bartra, Gomez, campabadal, and botia on loan. I am sure at least 4 if not all of them are more promising than caceres. The only reason we keep loaning and not selling is because no one wants our flops any more than we do…. whos fault is that? well, maybe ours for buying them in the first place, but you cant blame anyone for not buying them. hopefully he finally shines in sevilla and can get off our hands. Good luck to you caceres, wherever you go, but it wont be barca. Tbh id rather but one of our youngsters in our back 4 than caceres.

I am wondering how much we have lost on this transfer alone. when I think about how much money we have lost on buying Hleb, Chyg, Caceres, Henrique, Keirsson, Ibra etc it drives me crazy. For those money we could have bought 4-5 superstars who could have made an impact on this team. Talk about buying the wrong players. Still thinks Caceres will be a great player some day, but properbl not for our team. He will properbly do great for Sevilla and then they can buy him out for a penny, why are we making these crap deals where its only the other clubs who looks like winers. I tell you why, because we are waitong untill the very last minute to offload these players. I would have given Caceres the chance to saty at Barca, since we are short on defenders, and Caceres is alot better than Fontas and Muniesa.

if we had sold him for money then they would have made his buy-back clause far more expensive, 10mil+ possibly, as it is he is going to get first team experience for three years, could become a quality player and because we didnt charge them a transfer fee we could get him back for 3mil, rather than getting 500k for him then and having to pay back 10mil to get him.

That would be the only option I would approve of in terms of bringing in another forward. People keep saying we need a replacement, but we still have Keirrison. I don't know how much we'd have t opay for canceling the loan, though.

Of course we would have a buy-back option if we sold him for money. That happens all the time in La Liga. What is extremely rare however is to give away players, like the Botia deal we did. It's strange why you don't know this.
