Messi broke down after Copa elimination; Dressing Room Agonized
Sport has reported that the away team dressing room at the Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in Seville was a very unsafe place to be the night Barcelona were knocked out of the Copa del Rey by Sevilla. The Blaugrana players were not very happy with the elimination and were not the most mellow of humans as they manifested their displeasure of the defeat.
Lionel Messi could not restrain himself in the dressing room and collapsed into tears. Several team mates and later, the Coach himself, had to console him. The rest of the squad was in no less pain. Players were seen kicking the sidewalks in frustration. The water cooler for the players was thrown aside in anger. Anguished cries from the players were also heard emanating from within the dressing room.
Guardiola then addressed the squad and congratulated them for playing out of their skins. He said that the knock out was not the players’ fault and if anyone was to blame, it was him. He also appreciated the commitment and dedication of the players towards the Club.
I really like their dedication. It give me a good feeling about the rest of the season.

But we've lost quite some games during the last year, Sevilla, Rubin Kazan and some at the end of last la Liga season.

II love this song and I LOVE the fact that the team even has an informal theme song. And, of course, I LOVE this team for the passion that they so obviously feel. And Messi . . . it is easy to forget that he is only 22. The true emotions and passions of youth.

I think if we had played badly and lost it would have been easier to take. But having seen 2 disallowed goals in the first leg and zlatan's penalty not called as well as Capel's disallowed goal in the first leg that would have made it 4-3 Barca and an entirely different prospect in the 2nd leg, i too feel the pain. Perez Burull robs Barca a fair chance but we must not dwell on it. We didnt dwell on it at Stamford Bridge and we must move on. Thats football, sometimes the luck goes with you, sometimes its against you. Our "debt" for the CL semi-final is now paid in full. Lets see what the CL brings for us this season

Don´t get me wrong, i am a barca girl and i always want them to win, but its just not going to happen. You just got to learn how to deal with loosing. Messi has a fantastic mind, but this makes me a little worried about him on a personal level. I hope that he´s got supportive people around him, so that this doesn´t get to him too much. Visca Barca! i don't know if anyone realizes this but zlatan mostly plays bad when henry is on the pitch.. it seems they aren't linking well. when pedro is playing we always see some crazy pass from ibra to him cause pedro make good runs but henry sticks in the left even when ibra shifts to left or goes to midfield to collect the ball and runs to the goal line and crosses it to the keeper. henry has become a complete waste. pep should of spotted this by now, henry is playing with ibra the same way he plays with eto, they are totally two different players, get it through your head henry.

if we play with this kind of fire in the belly for the rest of the season i am sure he will win the liga and champs league. We still managed to beat sevilla away. It might have not been enough.. but that result individually is great.. and we cud have scored more with some luck. we really had some bad luck with sevilla away and still beat them 1-0. overall it was a great performance… and this is precisely the thing that will motivate them on. Now we know how important it is to truly win a game and what it all means to us. Lets not take anything for granted and give it our all for every game… we only have 2 major tophies to play for now.
1 good thing about the loss is that the bandwagon-ers will jump ship…we don't need fake fans anyways..
