Your football is the best but what do you expect people to do,to just let you pass the ball and stand there looking at you,spain are a very good team but your players pretty much have an attitude of winning at all cost which brings the diving and imaginary waving of cards at every incidents.
Where is the fair play from the spanish players really atrocious,players like iniesta are great players but damn do they make most of their little if nothing contact even villa was at it as he was completely shackled by the dutch centre backs so he decided to continuously dive to win free kicks all of them near the penalty area but anytime he was tackled near the half way line,he was always making an effort to stay on his feet.
France won without cheating,brazil did the same apart from rivaldo but you and your latin brothers italy have resorted to diving and cheating antics to win especially at this tournaments where pretty much 3 to 4 of your wins came after a player was sent off.

Iniesta weighs about 50 kgs, when a huge guy kicks his knees, he falls. Holland had a clear tactic, foul Spain and a lot and hope the referee helps them. The referee was quite lenient to let von Bommel and de Jong stay on the field.
Robben is the biggest diver in the whole tournament. Xavi & Iniesta are two of the most honest players out there. You play defense by trying to trap the player and kicking the ball. If you kick people's legs don't get upset if you get called for a foul.
surprisingly forlan won the golden ball. i seriously don't know how they came to that conclusion.
Watch barca vs inter and come back to speak as everyone know now that to beat spain you have to defend in numbers and hit them on the break,i see spain going back to oblivion again as unfortunately messi doesn't play for you and with most of your super players almost at the end of their careers like villa,puyol,casillas,xavi,you had your time and i think another team is going to come and start dominating.

Enjoy your run but all runs have to come to an end and i seriously think yours will come at the euros 2012 because like i said some of your players will be past their primes and too old.
They were a lot of fouls committed by the dutch players but each time the spanish players felt like the ball was going away from them despite not being fouled they just decided to throw themselves on the floor and the referee bought it most times.

Well, it is true that it might be a long time until Spain get another chance to win. I applaud Spain however for being able to fully take advantage of their best generation of players – something the Dutch were not capable of doing in the 1970s. But then again, players like De Gea, Bojan, Munian, Pedro, Busquets, Muniesa, Pique, Deulofeu, Dalmau, and Fabregas can make a team even better than the current one, but TBH it is hard to see those players ever reaching the heights of players like Xavi, Iniesta, Villa, Torres, Casillas, Ramos, or Puyol, all players who will be legends and considered the best Spanish players ever… For me, Xavi is the best play-maker in history, and Iniesta is just beyond words.
Why would it be a long time?
Euro 2012 is 2 years away, WC is only 4 years away.
Iniesta, Torres, Casillas, Ramos will all be there. And why not Xavi? He would by 2014 be the same age as Zidane in 2006.
I hope they are still there, but it's hard to see them being anywhere near as good in the next WC. Iniesta, Torres, Xavi, Casillas, will all be in their 30s. But sometimes, age doesn't matter.
And dont forget Cesc, Busquets and Pique in the coming years either. They are just in their early 20s and will improve in the coming years.

I always spell his name wrong. He plays for Athletic Bilbao. I don't think the guy is tall, but he is definitely strong – like a typical player from Bilbao, except with more talent :p. He kind of reminds me of Aguero, with his short stature, yet very strong and built body. I don't think he would have any troubles holding the ball up even when against a huge defender.
