After the league match with Mallorca in early October, a number of Barcelona’s players will once again disperse for international duty. Of the squad lists released so far, Brazil’s 23 man squad includes Barcelona defenders Dani Alves and Adriano, while Argentina manager Sergio Batista has called up defender Gabriel Milito, newly signed midfielder Javier Mascherano and forward Lionel Messi, despite his recent injury.

Despite having to sit out a few games this month owing to the injury he received against Atletico Madrid, Messi is expected to recover in time to travel with Batista’s team.
