Fabregas to reject new Arsenal contract
Catalan sports paper Sport reports Cesc Fabregas is set to reject Arsenal’s renewal offer as he has his heart set on a return to Barcelona.
The Sunday Mirror reported yesterday that Fabregas will be offered a new £30 million deal by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger who is desperate to keep hold of his captain (read more here).
Sport suggest that Fabregas’ return to the Nou Camp is based on more than just “economic issues.” He has apparently made his desire clear to his representatives and is simply waiting for both clubs to sort out the transfer.
Barcelona are reportedly willing to pay 50 million euros to Arsenal for Cesc Fabregas but the Catalan club and the player hope a deal can be completed with minimum of fuss.

of course cesc isn't going to renew, not when arsenal are so feeble but if arsenal do manage to fight for the title to the last day cesc may consider it. 50 mil is just an exaggerated price, barca never start negotiations so high. barca's patience this summer with cesc's will to leave will definitely drop the price. he might come to barca for no more than 35mil. i rather spend the money on a LW

a barca youth product, that means barca dna ! he was born in barcelona and barca is the best team in the world. he needs slowly but surely some titles ! true, money is not the issue. i think that everybody knows that he wants to go back to barca. therefore, i think it´s ridiculous for other teams trying to lure him away. especially for real madrid. a left wing is surely another talking point. honestly, i believe in jeffren ! he has speed and a great technique. the most important thing is that he´s a la masia product and knows the barca style. i´m convinced that he can be a success.
