Catalan based newspaper Sport reported that Ex-Barcelona player Rivaldo announced on Wednesday, on his official Twitter page, that he has terminated his contract with the Uzbek club FC Bunyodkor. The Brazilian did not specify whether he decided to retire and end his football career, at the age of 38, or whether he was still available to play for another club.
Rivaldo signed for FC Bunyodkor two years ago coming from AEK Athens. He has also played for Corintians, Palmeiras, Deportivo, Barcelona, and AC Milan. With the Brazilian National team, he played a total of 74 games and scored 34 goals.
Rivaldo is considered to be one of FC Barcelona legendary players; he played with the Blaugrana five seasons, from 1997 until 2002, where he scored a total of 86 goals.
