David Silva calm about transfer rumours

According to Catalan sports paper Sport, Valencia midfielder and Spanish international David Silva (23) insists he’s not unsettled by renewed interest from European top clubs. This season is expected to be Silva’s last at the Mestalla with the Spanish star high on the shopping lists of both Barcelona and Real Madrid.

“I am focused on my team,” said Silva. “Besides, it is something that no longer depends on me. I just think about hopefully being in the Champions League next season, because we are in good form and we want to continue like this. You should ask the coach and the president. I am dedicated to playing and it all depends on the need of the team, that wants to sign me.”

  2. Marc4barca says:

i prefer other players as well preferably aguero

  3. irishcule says:

we will buy him in the summer

  4. Luimac says:

get silva and villa! we get a left winger and a cf when ibra needs rest and we get a cheaper option on mid instead of cesc on mid :D 50-60 mill and 1 or 2 cantera players for both!

    man……..
    you again..
how long have you been following football?
balotelli is talented but he needs to go to an anger management class.
silva is spanish, plays LW, plays with xavi, iniesta, pique & puyol in the NT
so he will blend in faster than super mario..

  6. barca96 says:

yes i totally agree with villa and silva..
villa can play LW or CF when ibra is injured or SUSPENDED..
silva is less attacking but can play LW and in midfield
but we are already well covered for midfield for the next few years..
so villa seems like a better signing

  7. MBB says:

For me it's either Silva or Faber-guess, but not both. If we sign either we will certainly loose one of the 2 youth mids. I would essentually make the commitment for 1 whoever wants it bad enough. DO YOU HERE THAT FAB!
