Bojan to be used in Ribery deal?
Reports on Bulgarian site ‘Topsport’claim that Bayern Munich may be interested in FC Barcelona forward and Spanish youth international Bojan Krkic, 19. The young striker is being tipped as an inclusion in any potential move the Catalan’s may make for Bayern’s French winger Franck Ribery.
It is thought Bayern would like Bojan included in a swap deal for Ribery, with the German team willing to drop their asking price for the Frenchman down to somewhere around 30 million euros. It is thought Munich would be more inclined to facilitate a quicker and easier move away from Germany for Ribery if they had a replacement already lined up. It seems the young Spain international may be just what they’re looking for, although Chelsea and Real Madrid are still thought to be keenly interested in the French winger.
But it is not only Ribery who is courting many admirers; ‘Topsport’also claims that many top clubs are watching the progress of Barca’s starlet, Bojan. The site claims that Ajax, Marseille, Lyon and Manchester United are all keeping tabs on the striker who has struggled to start regularly for the Blaugrana so far this season. Neither club have commented on these rumours, so it is to be seen if anything comes of these proposed moves.
I agree with John, but who knows what they'll decide? Do they know that a lot of us don't care about big names & want to keep our best canteranos long enough for them to develop?
Hope it is true, I have never been impressed with Bojan.
But if this turns out to be true I hope we get a buy back option in the unlikely event that he should become good.

in bojan's first season at age 17 he broke the record for most goals by a roukee 11 goals thats more than the great raul ,torres and aguero. thats when he was stating and ever since pep came he has not gotten much chances what do you expect . bojan is other than messi the best striker in our squad he just asnot gotten the chance

no way!!!!!!! bojan is one of barca future forwards with ecellent ball movement and skills and shooting range. ribery never convinved me and he is always injure, did anyone saw him on the international game frace vs spain, ribery was shutdown by spain defense. i still prefer david villa next summer.

I was criticising young Bojan at the begining of the season as he wasn't performing well after coming back from the unfortunate injury. True, he didn't get many minutes, but those he did he did not use properly IMO. Hovewer, since that amazing goal for Catalonia against Argentina his confidence grew a little bit and in 2010 he already showed few times (still didn't get many chances) that he has talent, that maybe, just maybe he is still progressing and… Man, this guy is still only 19. Nineteen! And if one look at those three assists he made during that Messi hat trick in the begining of the year, at that goal he scored against Argentina or that beautiful movement from the left (our biggest problem at the moment!) when he provided a perfect assist for Ibra, only for the goal to be wrongly disallowed- man, this boy still has something in him. But he needs opportuniteies to show it. Ibra can't play against Valencia, it's a perfect timing. I don't believe Henry has anything left in him (although I would gladly eat my own words)- and it could be time for Bojan to step up. With Ibra not playing that well, with Henry being simply awfull when he gets off the bench- that is a perfect time for him.
Exchanging him (and 30 milion) for Ribery? In few years time, with Bojan being one of the best strikers in Europe, we would be wandering how in the hell to buy him back (kinda like Cesc, although this time this being completely our fault). That would be worse than any of those transfers that fans here call "stupid" (Chygrynski, Hleb, Keirrison, Henrique, Ibra even) put together. Few of our players recently seem to have nothing to prove- Bojan has got EVERYTHING to prove. That may be the hunger we are actually missing.

Bojan is a good player. I don't know why he can impress Pep. Maybe he is antipatic in Pep's eyes. I don't know… but in match against Tenerife Bojan show excellent performance with three assists. Pep should to use Bojan like CF instead of Ibra. The next game is the moment for Bojan to show his quality.
In 3 years with the first team what has Bojan done? nothing. Look at the the growth of Pato.. Bojan is a great talent but not player. He has long ways to go to be a regular starter.

Pato has been in the first team for 3 years, hence his growth. Bojan has been in and out, getting average 5-10 minutes a game. Sure pedro has done well when given his chances, thats cuz pedro is a super sub. Bojan is not. Bojan if he starts 36 games a season can score 15-20 goals. Pedro off the bench can score 20 goals in a season. Whether you like it or not, Bojan is barca and spain's future #9. They guy is 19, NINETEEN fricken years old. Furthur more, its not like pato has been lighten up AC milan. No trophies, missed out on a CL spot last year with pato leading the line. So pato wasnt an instant hit, but now, with games under his belt and experience AC milan are begining to be repaid by pato's services a full 3 years later.
That's the point. Pato plays Bojan doesn't. IF is a big word. Javier Saviola could had been a superb player IF he played more with Barca. Riquelme would had been a barca legend IF he was played at his right position.

Spain has tons of young strikers as good as Bojan. Bojan is behind Guiza, Llorente, Soldado, and Negredo in Spain's NT list.

I wouldn't mind this happening if there is some type of buyback option attached (wishful thinking).
But come on! who would not want Ribery in a Barca shirt. We have two staples of the team (Xavi and Puyi) who will be much older in 3-4 years when Bojan will probably see the most playing time. There is no guarantee that Thiago or Cesc will be there to fill Xavi's spot, and I doubt ANYONE can replace Puyi as the heart of Barca.
IF we have Ribery now, he will have the hunger for titles because he is in the peak of his career. He also knows how to play with tall slower strikers (Toni=Ibra). His vision is great, and he is a winger that can score goals and create by himself.
Whatever happens "In Pep We Trust"!!!! And stop ripping on Ibra, Henry had a really rough first year and a fantastic second. Hopefully Ibra will adapt better with a whole off season so adjust.

What bojan did in the youth team was special scoring 927 goals or something, but doing that is something else apart from doing it on the game, literally he's nothing, tell me something special with this guy. i mean serious… there are so many better players than bojan… sure he has potential but not a potenial to become a starter in barca..
Bayern is the talent-killer in person. They burned out some starlets in Germany within the last x seasons. The bought Gomez for 30 mio EUR. Do you think they would ever use Gomez as a heater for the bench?
Bojan is going nowhere. Neither Bayern would buy him nor Barca would ever let him go. BTW: Ribery isn't worth more than 25 mio EUR with a one year contract. Diego was at least as good as Ribery and look how much Juventus paid for him.

Bojan proved so many times he's a better starter than a sub. And Pedro proved us he's such a better sub. So where's the problem. Bojan starting matches Pedro saves the world as a sub. Everyone's happy. I guess. But I'm getting the feeling, someone and I can't say who, doesn't like young Bojan in Barca. It's funny how he never gets to play.
