Ashley Cole to Barca?
Chelsea FC leftback and England international Ashley Cole (29) is reportedly having a pretty hard time on and off the pitch these days. Just like his fellow countryman and Chelsea teammate John Terry (29), Cole is fighting to save his marriage after a revealed cheating scandal.
Chelsea’s international defender found himself in the spotlight after he smuggled girls into team hotels, which made the club owner Roman Abramovich extremely furious.
“Ashley is having a rough time at the moment,” said a source reportedly close to the defender and continued, “If he and Cheryl get divorced, why would he want to stay in this country?”.
According to British tabloid ‘The Sun’, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly very upset and disappointed with the player’s behaviour and is considering offloading him as he is not ready to tolerate any kind of behaviour that would hurt the image of the club.
The Sun report that Barcelona are ready to fight for the signature of the player, while Chelsea’s coach Carlo Ancelotti is reluctant to see one of his best men leave Stamford Bridge. Real Madrid have also been linked to the player.
If this was true, it would be CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!! We would be unstoppable i mean, Ashley Cole is one of the best left-backs in history!

He is a twat, but the best Lb in my opinion. But he will be 30 by the time he might be available. and cannot see chelsea letting him go for less than 15 mil. Not worth it. Especially with the youth coming through, abidals form this season and maxwells willingness to be his backup.

i do not like ashley cole one bit…i'm sorry guys but i don't share your opinion that he's good…apart from that he loves to antagonize players on the field…he's one of the footballers i hate to look at play…barca can do so much better than him…anyways his lifestyle does not suit guardiola's barcelona one bit…i'm sure nothing would come out of this…
i don't know why we buy injurie players!!! we bought henry and zlatan while they were injuried… also zlatan is still the best cf but henry couldn't be as well as before after his injurie! buying cole would be big risk..
i prefer lahm cuz he can play lb and rb… younger and is good in attack.. he is like most of our players too silent:D

My personal view is that Ashley = mercenary among mercenaries, no loyalty, no class, a nonentity, and that Barça can do better than this sad sack.
hmmm, ashley as known as cashley is without a doubt world class. honestly, i would welcome him but if i had the choice between abidal and cole, i would go for abidal. he´s in a sublime form and at the moment better than any other left back.

he is not as good as he used to be in arsenal and of course abidal is a lot better than him and we have also maxwell who is a great cover for that position

If he does leave and wants to come to Spain, I believe Madrid will get him since their problem is the LB. Barca shouldn't get him unless we are thinking of training Maxwell on the right. I would go for Lahm or a true RB. The only problem I have with Lahm is that he is way too young, that is if we are considering in promoting youngsters.

I hope it's just a rumor and nothing more. Cashley cole is overrated beyond belief. Forget hype, his personality doesn't fit that of Barca. Bad choice for Barca. Abidal is immense and this season Abidal has been the best left back, and perfect leftback for Barca. Maxwell is showing promise, so he'll stay as second choice. We should forget about Cashley Cole and go for a winger, which we need!
