Spain U-19 coach, Luis Milla, today revealed a list of 22 players who will assemble at the Soccer City of Las Rozas, Madrid, from July 4th-14th in preparation for the final phase of the European U-19 Championship, which will be held in Caen, France, from the 15th to 30th of next month.

Among those named, the bulk of the list is formed by FC Barcelona players, with a total of seven. Three Juvenil A players namely Alejandro ‘Alex’ Sanchez (GK, 19), Carles Planas (LB, 19), Ruben Rochina (CF, 19) and four Barca Atletic players namely Martin Montoya (RB, 19), Marc Bartra (CB, 19), Oriol Romeu (DM, 18) and Thiago Alcantara (19, AM) have been called up.

Spain will have to go through a ‘Group of death’ containing the likes of Croatia, Portugal and Italy, in order to have a shot at winning the title.

Rochina will be leading the Spanish attack
