Chygrinski is soooo bad. Man, how many points are we gonna lose and how many games won't we win until this guy learns how to play football. He's so much mistaken. 25 mio euro for nothing. First they said, they will play this game like a champions league game and then pep only let messi, iniesta and alves play from the beginning. yes we have good talents in the team but without keita and toure we really need a new midfielder. otherwise we will lose more and more points. we cannot let thiago or dos santos play in midfield in such games. this is sevilla and not a third class team.

i'm not mad at the player as muchas I'm just mad guardiola pushed so hard to buy a completely overpriced player. I never thought it was a good buy and i feel there are no other words to describe his performance today in the second half. It wasn't completely his fault, we are having awful defencive problems.
Iniesta and Thiago were not the problem tonight. Pep picked the worst possible defensive combination he could of in Chyg/Milito/Marquez as DM. Marquez didn't take any pressure off the back 4 and couldn't efficiently transition from defense to attack, once the ball was in the attacking end Thiago and Iniesta were doing positive things, linking well with Messi, etc. The defending was shambolic tonight, simple as. I don't think that another midfielder is required, Busquets has done very well recently and when he entered the pitch along with Xavi it was one way traffic.
A full strength XI would've sent that Sevilla side home in the first half.
You guys are wrong in saying chrygy is bad. Yes hes bad in some ways, which is mostly pace. But hes also good in the simple passing and tackling.. How many of you have actually seen him play at SHaktar? No one? He was a fantastic player and a gr8 leader. Im not saying this loss wasnt his fault, but its difficult for him to change his game in a new place.

The team did play badly today… yes it was basicly our 2nd leg team BUT it was still sad to see Barca play such bad football. Chigry is not bad but he is no Barca material… even Caceres is a better option than him since he is faster and can play on the left/right back. Besides being tall.. chigry is not worth 25mill.
ref was even worst than villareal one also.. bojan shot that ricochet on zlatan was no foul or offside.. whatever he annulled it for. Dani alves goal was also 1mm offside so offensively speaking it should had been played

Pep needs to be blamed for this one. As much as he has done well in the past year in a half doesn't excuse him from such a stupid lineup tonight. Agreed that Chyg-Marquez-Milito was a terrible combination. Why not rest players against Tenerife. If you lose there are 20 more games to catch up. Do what you did today and you are basically out. I agree that so far Chyg has sucked. The attacker almost ALWAYS gets behind him. I don't know how many times he gets caught out of position. It is so annoying.
Sure, Perez sucked pretty bad but the blame lies on Pep IMO.
Especially when he singlehandedly stopped us when we played against them. He's a great player, he just needs more minutes. Marquez is the one who is losing his grip. Chygrinski is so slow. And his passing quality wasn't good tonight. He is a talent but he is not ready for the first XI. He will never get in the starting eleven if he continues doing such mistakes. He is not able to play 90 min without causing damage to barca.
btw: ibra is great but i'm missing eto'o. our strikers aren't playing together. last season henry, eto'o and messi played together in a way i haven't seen before. blind understanding. barca payed 65-70 mio for chygrinski and ibra and all i can see after 1/2 year is that barca lost it's quality in front and back. I agree with you John, Pep needs to take the blame for this poor defensive line-up tonight. Where was the brilliance in this defensive line-up of all the defensive players he had available he choose this; shocking Pep …. against Sevilla .. ??? My gosh Pep. this was seriously a WTF move by you. Please I beg you don't let it happen again. I get it you want to see everyone's potential but not like this. You have to let regulars (senior/ seasoned) players Puyol/Pique/Abidal) play with none regulars to grow in those kind of positions and then u move from there…. shiimus.
Still respect the players and staff of Barca but you should've rested the defensive guys for Tenerife.

i agree he does make foolish mistakes sometimes.. cause if it was up to me my first team would been against sevilla and rest players against tenerife and most signings have been horrible but pep is pep and we there no way we cannot trust him unless he goes trophyless for the next two seasons.
currently we are not the world's best and i believe our copa fight is over we will not do a good job against sevilla in seville.

I can't find a video of the post game press conference, but the news reports say that Pep has, indeed, taken responsibility. From Sport:

still the 2nd leg, but cant really see it happening as swvilla can just play on counter, prob a good thing for us to not have to play too many games, all i want is the league to stop those madrid ba£££rds from winnning.
