They'been in rebuilding for 7 years now. It's totally understandable that RM cannot reach what mourinho probably wants. But, however, a manager of such class (i assume) should have an inmediate impact in a new team. I'm talking about the attitud and the pressing. Pep Guardiola needed 4 games to do his team to press like they do now. The attitude changed inmediately after he arrived. The tactics came after. Mourinho has failed to make a mark in the attitude of his players, and that's really serious. Not the defeat, not the humilliation. The fact that they stop playing/caring after we score the second and our players keep pressing until the 93 minute.
I also need to say that he had time, money and the press to build up a team at will. Pellegrini did not have any of that (he wanted Sneijder and Robben to stay and Valdano sold them) and his madrid looked miles better than this new experiment.
The fact is that madrid hadn't faced a really strong side the entire season. Until now.

Arbeloa did lots of dirty unnecessary tackles which weren't even part of the play. Several times he took down Messi when Messi was running back to regain possession or moving back onside. There was one time where Carvalho did a standing tackle on Messi and then Arbeloa came from behind and knocked him to the ground. Arbeloa was the worst before Ramos near the end and he didn't even play the first half
