We have lost one of Barca’s all time legends and best players: Eduard Manchón. Born in Barcelona on July 24, 1930, Manchón shone on the left flank for Barca, where he played for the majority of his career (from 1948 to 1957). He was one of the forwards in one of our most mythical lineups ever: Basora, Cesar, Kubala, Moreno and Manchón - the forwards who were part of the “Barca de les Cinc Copes”. He died at the age of eighty after suffering form an illness for a long time.
