Real Madrid’s first priority next summer: Cesc Fabregas

Spanish sports paper AS claims that Real Madrid’s first priority on the transfer market next summer is Cesc Fabregas. The club mean that they need to strengthen their midfield with two players and Cesc is their first choice. Florentino Perez strategy is to buy, at least one superstar each year for Real Madrid. AS claims that the club spoke with Arsenal in the summer of 2008 on a possible signing, with a offer that could have been 40-50 million Euros. Despite the talks between the clubs, Cesc had decided that he wanted to stay in London. This summer Real Madrid tried to convince the club and player with a transfer sum on 60 million Euros, but Cesc again decided to stay. It is speculated that Barcelona and Real Madrid will face each other in a bidding war for Cesc Fabregas. It is reported that Laporta wants to sign him before his term as a president is over.
i swear to god if cesc signs for real madrid his feet will be broken and his tongue will be cut off and shoved far up his ass so that he will never play football or utter the words real madrid ever again.

What are you talking about, Barca's president basically begged him to stay but he left. In spain, you can't offer contracts to minors while in england, the cutoff is much lower, that's why he left, because he love's money more than his heritage.

1) Money might convince Arsenal, that's true. But we don't know how much Madrid will actually have to spend after this season.
2) I doubt it. Guardiola is Cesc's idol, the play he made himself after, the player whose number he wears (a conscious decision on Cesc's part).
3) Do they? After all, without Xavi we have problems. JDS and Thiago will be great, certainly. But right now, they still need time to mature as players.
4) He's also said he'd like to return home.
5) Barca couldn't have kept Cesc and he knows it. It isn't legal to sign players that young to professional contracts.
As reports crap news, well i believe Perez wants him as well, but to the chap who said Madrid needs him more than Barca, i beg to differ, Madrid has more creative adnd defensive midfielders than Barca and i believe Cesc knows it himself,The only reason Cesc will join madrid will be because of the Cash and not because of sporting reasons which i believe won't happen, Cesc will join Barca next summer.CASE CLOSED
Actually, I don't think the deal will come off. Cesc is not yet that kind of super star that Madrid are looking for, not worth that much of money, neither. He meant more to Barca than to any other club in the world. Thats why Barca wants to sign him. What Madrid will do, and they always do, is to mess up the transfer market for Barce so Barca will pay much more. That's basically it.
Cesc will be real stupid if he goes to Madrid. He will be haunted the rest of his life and be labelled as greedy (even more) as Figo. Such an end will actually play in Madrid's hand: Barca will be real pissed and Cesc, as a prominent product of Barca youth system, will be forever destroyed.
Id he goes for Real madrid tan he will certainly lose th respect he has been getting so far. His move form Barcelona to Arsenal was well published and I think he will not only lose the respect from the Catlunya peoples but also from the footballing world. He is of Barcelona and he belongs to Barcelona and now he has to decide weather to come back at home or go to an enemy place.
