Possible Barcelona knock-out stage opponent
FC Barcelona opponent in the UEFA Champions League knockout round will be among seven of the eight group runners-up.
For this stage, one group’s winners will play against another group’s runners-up, but may not be drawn against:
i) Teams from the same association (National league),
ii) Teams from the same group (UCL group stage),
Nevertheless for the quarter-finals and semi-finals round, no such restrictions exist.
As such, of the runners-up, Barcelona will not be drawn against Inter Milan in the next round.
Group winners will play the second-leg at home.

To be honest , all the runner up teams are good teams , and the only real advantage here is playing the 2nd leg at Camp Nou. According to me from strongest to weakest the group runners up are…
Olympiakos (Pretty much the weakest team left in the CL , and i bet somehow MAN Utd will face them.)
1) Internazionale (They have a good team , and could possibly knock out a group winner)
2) Porto (They were really good , and were unlucky to lose 1-0 to Chelsea both times )
3) Lyon (Have really impressed every1 along with Bordeaux this season)
4) Bayern (After thumping Juve , they look like a changed team)
5) Milan (They are CL specialists , and you can never EVER count them out)
6)CSKA (Russians are always dangerous at home , we learned that the hard way lol)
7) Stuttgart ( Unlikely that theyl make it to the next round)
I just hope to avoid Milan and maybe Porto, Pretty sure we can get the better of the others over 2 legs. Would be nice if we get to play some team other than Bayern or Lyon though cause we played em last season …

I so desparatly want to avoid CSKA, tired of the russian oppositions and their compackt defence. ALso avoiding bayern would be great. Im sure uefa will go easy on us after giving us hell in the group stage, we cannot possibly get lyon 2 years in a row. Give us porto or stutgart. No i dont want olympiacos, tired of seeing a 5 man defence.
But 1 thing we can ensure if we get bayern is that it will be an open game, but….. no thanks!!! Did you guys see what robben did to abidal last year.!!!!

I want to get AC Milan. They are a decent team, but if you pass quick enough and run a lot, they will by shit tire by the 60th minute. Pirlo, Dinho, Seedorf, Nesta, Zambrotta and Ambro will all be exasuted. Marseille did it with their running and with more talent, they could have beaten them. With all Barca's running, we could beat them the way we beat Munich last year.
I would love to get Oly, CSKA, Stuttgart or Milan.

I think of all the 2nd placed teams, Inter is the most feared, and they are the one we will not face. Milan would be fun but I'd prefer to see if they can advance against another squad and maybe meet us later on. I agree with those who'd prefer to avoid CSKA in February. I don't mind Lyon, Bayern, or Porto but feel like we've seen those games recently enough. So I guess that leaves Oly and Stuttgart as favorites.
This years draw is pretty wide open, all the Spanish and English squads can face any of 7 teams, only Bordeaux (6 possible opponents) and Fiorentina (5 possible opponents) have any insight into who they'll face.
Stuttgart, Olympiacos, or Porto, hopefully, just for a change. I haven't had much chance to watch any of those teams. I don't want Barca to face Milan this early, tired of Lyon, tired of Russian teams (but all credit to Rubin for impressing), tired of Bayern.
