According to news agency Europa Press, Barcelona has submitted to FIFA an official list of 23 players who will be made available to compete for Club World Cup from December 16 to 19 in the United Arab Emirates.

The surprise in the list is the inclusion of the still-recovering defender Gabriel Milito – his first official call-up in 18 months – and Barca Atletic’s goalkeeper Ruben Mino (20) and midfielder Jonathan dos Santos (19).

Milito (29), who played his first 45 minutes of “competitive” football in the friendly against Bolivar a few days ago, is well on his way to full recovery.

Barcelona will play their first game on Wednesday December 16 in Abu Dhabi in a semi-final match against one of these three teams: Egypt’s Al-Ahly, New Zealand’s Auckland City or Mexico’s Atlante FC.

According to reports from the club, the players will be given jersey numbers running from  the number ’1’ to ’24′, and most, if not all of the first team players opted to keep their usual numbers with a few exceptions.
