Interviewed by British-based regional newspaper ‘Manchester Evening News’, Manchester City’s Kolo Toure has yesterday claimed that his brother, FC Barcelona’s Yaya, is currently feeling down as he is not getting enough playing time at the Camp Nou, and would love to join him in England.

“He’s having a hard time in Barcelona. He is not playing as much as he would have liked and he loves playing football,” adding further, “If he can come, especially to a club in England, I would be really happy because the Premier League is a fantastic place to play football”.

Asked if he would like to see his brother move to Manchester City, Kolo said he is hopeful that the club can do a deal to team them up again for the first time since they played their youth football for ASEC Mimosas in their native country: “I hope so. He is a good player, and if he could come to our team that would be great”.

“He is very good technically, can hold up the ball well, and is a great passer with a great vision, and he also has a great desire to win,” the player said, believing his brother will be a good asset to the team as he can not only play in midfield but as shown during Barcelona’s Champion League final last season, he can also play in central defense.

The two brothers are currently on international duty for Ivory Coast.
