Blackburn considers move for Jeffren

British newspaper The Mirror claims that English Premier League team Blackburn and several other clubs would be interested in a loan deal for Barcelona forward and Spanish youth international Jeffren Suarez (21).

Barcelona are reportedly willing to loan Jeffren out as he is not currently in their first team plans – with Lionel Messi, Thierry Henry and Pedro all ahead of him in the pecking order for the wing-forward roles – and with Barcelona eager to sign another left winger in January, Jeffren’s first team chances would be in jeopardy. Barcelona have decided to loan him out in a bid to give him regular first team playing time to show what them what he can do.

Jeffren, believed to be one of the best of Barcelona’s current academy players alongside Pedro, Marc Muniesa and Thiago Alcantara, caught the eye of Arsenal whilst playing for Spain in the Euro Under 19’s Tournament in 2006 but Barcelona are reportedly unwilling to let him go on a permanent deal, making a loan switch to any other smaller club possible.

Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce will however face fierce competition in his bid to sign Jeffren since Wigan, Everton and Celtic are all said to be interested in securing the loan signing and will fight to the end to capture him.

I think he was trying to say:

"We should loan him out or sell him with a buy back option. Dos Santos is okay since Tottenham are in four competitions. How much playing time does he get, uh?"

But I could be wrong. I do however have a slight headache forming.
