Barcelona willing to pay 25m euros for Robinho
According to Catalan sports paper, El Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona will make an attempt to sign Manchester City forward, Robinho (25) , and are willing to pay up to 25 million euros. The club still believe that the ideal transfer window to complete the transfer is next summers’, and want to come to an agreement with Manchester City on an early stage. Although Robinho wishes to be bought from Barcelona and not loaned from the start, Barca prefer to loan the player first as is would be a big risk to sign him for 25 million Euros.
Barcelona believe that his market price is 25 million Euro’s for three main reasons: Firstly, it is clear that he is not essential for Barcelona. Secondly, there is no other clubs in negotiations for Robinho. And third, judging by his form since his arrival to England, 25 million might be the highest sum they can get for him, and due to the hefty price they paid, the Citizens might want to recoup as much as they can. The Brazilian is currently in his second season in the Citizens jersey after being bought from Barcelona’s arch-rivals, Real Madrid, for 40 million Euros. Robinho and Barcelona have already agreed on the terms and duration of the contract except the part where Barca wants him on loan.
Raul Sanellhi and Txiki Bergistan will this week head to Abu Dhabi (UAE) to prepare Barcelona’s visit in FIFA Club World Cup. According to El Mundo Deportivo’s sources they would not have planned any meeting with the owners of Manchester City, but rather “talk with people” and “talk about everything.”
Barcelona would offer Robinho a contract duration for 6 years, with approximately 5.5 million euros per year deal, according to the British football site Daily Mirror.

And Robhino is certainly not worth more than 25m for reasons given in the article above.
Price tag doesnt jus depend on the player. it depends on many other factor.
His present form , how many clubs are behind him , no. of years in his contract with the club, whether or not his relationship with the club is good…etc.
Everything is a negative in case of Robhino. Infact if we are to believe the news, then both he and his manager dont want him at Man City. I say even 20m is more than sufficient.

i like chygrynskiy but his transfer was excessive and barca need to stop making them… we shouldn't have paid more than 15 for him. one thing about real i like is when they spend huge sums it is on proven god given talent while we pay on so called potential players.. it is one thing i hate about barca.
robinho now is a great player but 35mil for someone who hasn't even played this season yet…want to leave… doesn't have a relationship with his manager… barca only club bidding is also excessive and we should loan him first.. 25mil is a good price.

I've been expecting a straight swap with man city for a while now. Yaya for Robinho. It's been looking increasingly likely lately, despite the fact that all cules (myself included) oppose it. Yaya has been getting significantly less playing time than youd expect and he hasnt been injured at all. All indications point towards pep replacing the yaya with mascherano and then having robinho for the left wing. swapping a player we bought for 10 for a player thats worth close to 35 seems like good business but yaya does his job perfectly and trying to replace him is risky. I hope we take robinho on loan and choose not to buy/swap.
yeah NIXFO999,never know why guadiola is not using yaya latelly,or does he wants to do the swap? but i will guaranty u that if he does a swap of yaya – robinho,that will be the biggestest mistake a coach would ever do in the history of barca.and i dont even want him to sell yaya at all,all we gonna do is just buy two players in january,a left wiger(may be robinho or willian or di maria<never want suarez>)and we buuy a mildfielder to cover for the absence of both yaya and keita.and for the price tag,i dont think 25 million is huge for a player of robinho quality.and people critising keirison,cheggy and caceres,i dont really know why!!!!!!!!!!!!!! keirrison is a young prospect that can come into our ranks at any time to be a world class,cheggy is just starting and thats always clear thats how it happens to new players in barca,and caceres was not a flop for 16 million in my own view,bcos i think its only that pep does not have confidence in this guys and cant give them one.(so as henrique)
